Gerard grumbled as the alarm clock screamed in his ear. 'Not again' he sighed slamming his hand to stop the racket abusing his ears. As his eyes began to slide shut the door opened revealing a rebelling Mikey 'mom said if you're not downstairs in two minutes I have permission to smash your lights out.' Looking unimpressed, Gerard lobbed a nearby trainer towards the young teens' head only missing by an inch. Mikey pouted 'One Minute.'
Smiling smugly Gerard leant back into the bed, one minute, sixty seconds, eighty four heart beats. As the seconds passed by Gerard looked over at Mikey who had begun to walk into his room. Bored by the idea of school Gerard rolled onto his side and closed his eyes, if mom wants me to get up she can come and get me herself.
Mikey had made his way to the edge of the bed and leant down to Gerard's ear 'three...' Gerard didn't flinch as the quilt was removed and the gentle murmur of 'Two...' invited a hand to the back of his t-shirt. 'One.'
With a choke Gerard was pulled from his bed and pushed to the floor; lying there Gerard looked up at Mikey 'Really?' Mikey cocked his head to the left and kept a poker face, this only angered him more 'do you want to go there?' Gerard stood up pushing Mikey away slightly towards the door, giving him a chance to leave.
Gerard turned to climb back into bed, only just catching a glimpse of Mikeys fist as it hurtled towards his jaw line. Bracing he took the strike before whipping round and grabbing Mikeys shoulders, succeeding to forcefully push him out of the door and into the landing wall. ' stop it you little piece of shit.'
Mikey remained un-readable as he spoke 'I may be a piece of shit Gerard...' Mikey glanced down at Gerard's arms and pouted smugly '...but at least I'm not an emo faggot.'
His words struck straight to his heart, un-able to voice his opinion he swung his hand back only for it to be jerked to a halt as he swung it back towards Mikeys cheek. shit 'Gerard Arthur Way... Get your lazy bloody ass to school and leave poor Mikey alone.' Gerard pulled his hand free glaring at his father. 'Get. To. School. NOW!' His father's voice bellowed through the hall and around Gerard's skull.
Gerard stumbled back into his room looking for a clean t-shirt and hoodie, after a reasonably long search he found something suitable, he changed quickly not looking in the mirror as he grabbed his satchel and bounded down the stairs to the front door. He looked back to the kitchen where his parents fussed over the younger sibling, who, while his parents backs were turned, looked Gerard in the eyes and stuck his middle finger up.
I must be such a disappointment
